oooh, the crazy graphic goodness of cartolina cards is exactly what we need to cheer us up after a night of possible tornados (in Brooklyn? getouttahere!) and a particularly heinous commute. the collage-y composition of the thank you cards above is especially gloom defying. [via poppytalk]

many unique, pretty little sentiments, all 6 for $9 from turtle papers. there are quite a few more, but these are our favorites. how often do you see "thanks for hosting cards?" normally, you just have to settle for a regular old "thank you," but we like the specificity of this much better. if we received these typewriter thank you cards after having sent someone a gift, the delusions of grandeur would commence immediately. oh no, it wouldn't matter what the gift actually was. even if we had sent the dreaded candle or bath product gift basket, we'd still be patting ourselves on the back. how could we not, when our gift was so dead-on as to receive such awesome thanks? we are obviously masters of the gift-giving universe! 5 for $2.50 from luvmypets

We're lovin' this new Thank You card ($2.75) Kate Sutton created for Little Otsu. Not only are the peas just so freaking adorable, the card itself is eco-friendly, having been printed on on 100% post-consumer recycled paper with vegetable-based inks. (The envelope is 100% post-consumer recycled paper too!)
