It's craft fair season and Adorn blog has a great list of craft fairs happening this weekend across the nation.

One summer, if we ever don't have a job and just have tons of money (please, pretty please?) we would just go craft fair hopping...

save the date: stitch 2007

We just saw an ad for Stitch 2007. It's happening Saturday, November 10 in Austin, Texas. What is it you ask? According to the site, "The Stitch Fashion Show and Guerrilla Craft Bazaar is an annual celebration of independent design, artistry and creativity." Sounds good to us. Applications are currently being accepted if you'd like to be a part of the event--even if just to volunteer. They're also offering a Stitch Grant for crafters or designers looking to start their own small biz. It all sounds amazing, and may give us a reason to visit Texas in the fall...

renegade!

We can't contain our excitement. This weekend is one of the best craft fairs we've ever had the pleasure of attending annually: Renegade Craft Fair. We posted about this waaay back in April, so you know we're happy it's finally here. Any Brooklynites or NYC-ites attending? Anyone special you think we should check out? Their vendor list is so giant, how can we possibly choose?

Two awesome sounding craft fairs happening this weekend. Art Start Craft Bazaar going on in Philly and... Indie Craft Experience in Atlanta. If we lived in Raleigh, NC we would totally be going to The Handmade Market. It's taking place on May 5th from 11 am - 5 pm. But since we live in Brooklyn, NY, we guess we're just going to have to settle for pies and crafts... It's the 2nd annual Crafty Pie fair (we can't believe we missed this last year) and it's going on May 6th from 12-6 at Union Pool. Check out Modish for more details.

We won't be able to attend because we're not anywhere near the Bay Area or Austin, TX but we hope you guys will check it out. And of course, tell us about the all the great things we missed. (And all the new people we should buy stuff from.) Maker Faire: May 19-20 San Mateo Fairgrounds, CA and October 20 & 21 at Travis County Fairgrounds, TX. P.S.
