pearfection

so...we only got through page 4 of the 9 pages of goodies at petit pear, and these are all the items we absolutely could not resist posting. it's an explosion of goodness so amazing, so charming, we have to go lie down. it's a mixed bag, but most of them are gift tags and are priced at approx. 8 for $3.50. a little rain must fall

oooh, the crazy graphic goodness of cartolina cards is exactly what we need to cheer us up after a night of possible tornados (in Brooklyn? getouttahere!) and a particularly heinous commute. the collage-y composition of the thank you cards above is especially gloom defying. [via poppytalk]

wrapscallion

there are tons of things to swoon over at bell'occhio but, so as not to overwhelm you with beauty (it is only monday, after all), here's a theme: scalloped edges. they make paper look like little confectionery treats. and we're especially loving the box design of the petit victronel cards. 24 cartes for $25 gift wrap, 6 sheets for $6 $8, but it doesn't say for how many cards, 12 for $6 for the big ones, 24 for $6 for the teensy ones

nice balloon

it's a gift tag. it's a card. it's both! plus we love that it says bonjour and features both fleurs de lis (the symbol of florence) and an awesome vintage hot air balloon. all good things smashed together, kind of like any flavor of ben & jerry's ice cream..chaotic but amazing.

ooooh, ice cream

$3.50 each from chouxchoux

sacre bleu!

as if we could possibly need another notebook or journal (I think I may have some on my shelf, still unused, from college. and we won't even say how long ago that was. paris was still a place, not a social disease), but if we were about to unwisely indulge in yet another, it would be one of these from laughing elephant. and we wouldn't even have a hard time choosing which one, because at $3.95 apiece, we could buy two of these and the craziest big iced chai for under $10. also seen on poppytalk

cavallini cartes

Does anybody owe us a birthday gift? What about a graduation? National Maritime Day? Because everything at Cavallini & Co. is calling out to us this morning. A free-association ode to cavallini: a nice view of pointe de vecchio, women in circle skirts, the bedding in fancy beach houses...all things that make you want to remember an old-world moment for a long, long time. And the folks at cavallini know how to pull it off, splashing a selection of whimsical vintage images all over their products, from folders to rubber stamps. Our crave of the moment are their cartes postale. They come in six different designs, if you don't count their holiday offerings: natural history, butterflies, natural wonders, birds & nests, botanicals and the three we can't choose between for the life of us: vintage maps, paris and vintage postcards. $14.95 for 18 at Flax.

paris je t'aime

While we're on the subject of movie as stationery, here's some more Frenchy inspired stationery for the Paris Je T'aime watching set. (On a side note, we went and saw this last week, but I think we might have been distracted by our growling stomachs from really enjoying the movie. Also, Elijah Wood as a vampire? I don't think so...) The above is a Cavallini notebook ($10.95) from Stampington & Co.

Paris stamp set ($24.49)from Alpha Stamps

Eiffel Tower notecards ($14 for a set of 8) from square business design

we're such wanna-be parisians

Check out all these great Frenchy gift tags from blue bird lane. Depending on how "French" you want to pretend to be, you can choose to use the French words tags ($3) to attach to your cadeaux or, if you want to show your Parisian love (though we're not quite sure why anyone would need a gift tag that says "Paris"...), use these pink fu fu tags ($2.50) or these aged looking ones ($4).
