POMP & CIRCUMSTANCE: part 5

As Spring semesters everywhere begin to come to a close, it seems as though everyone knows someone about to walk down the aisle...to graduate, at least. For our pomp & circumstance series, we'll hunt down great graduation cards and save you the trouble of searching for just the right pick. Bombard new graduates with all the inspirational quotes their little heads can handle. It's okay that they're burnt out from finals and can hardly focus their eyes on your face. They can take this card with them, keep it in their pocket, and read it over and over again as they wait in the lobby of yet another office building for a job interview. That'll help them get a job. Yeah. [Congratulations Card from El Burro, $2.50]

POMP & CIRCUMSTANCE: part 4

As Spring semesters everywhere begin to come to a close, it seems as though everyone knows someone about to walk down the aisle...to graduate, at least. For our pomp & circumstance series, we'll hunt down great graduation cards and save you the trouble of searching for just the right pick. We were so taken with our birthday card from Uncooked that we decided to see what they had to offer in the way of graduation cards. Sadly, this was the only one. And though it is funny, it hits just a tad to close to home in terms of our own days as newly-minted college grads. Luckily, we discovered credit cards, the internet and cookies. Yeah, we've really turned things around. 3.25 smackers.

POMP & CIRCUMSTANCE: part 3

For our pomp & circumstance series, we'll hunt down great graduation cards and save you the trouble of searching for just the right pick. Okay, we cheated a little. This isn't a card at all, but a stamp you can use to make your own sarcastic greeting of congratulations. Stamp it all over some printer paper and voila... [$8.50 from paper source]

POMP & CIRCUMSTANCE: part 2

As Spring semesters everywhere begin to come to a close, it seems as though everyone knows someone about to walk down the aisle...to graduate, at least. For our pomp & circumstance series, we'll hunt down great graduation cards and save you the trouble of searching for just the right pick. Check out this sweet lil number! It mixes the elegant flourishes that draw us time and time again to letterpress creations, but with the comfy, more casual touch of cross-stitched lettering. It's like going to a fancy french restaurant and ordering the pommes frites, full of confidence in 1. having a clue as to what you just ordered 2. the promise of a big plate of fattening fries headed your way. ($3.50 from typeHigh)

POMP &CIRCUMSTANCE; part 1

As Spring semesters everywhere begin to come to a close, it seems as though everyone knows someone about to walk down the aisle...to graduate, at least. For our pomp & circumstance series, we'll hunt down great graduation cards and save you the trouble of hunting for just the right pick. This card features the only exam answer sheet that won't give us cold sweats and went-to-class-in-our-underwear nightmares ($3.50 from Snow & Graham via LuxePaperie).
