national stationery show post 1 (of a million)

We wanted to write this intro to our Stationery Show series of posts as soon as we got home from the show, but there was much to do: 1) Pee 2) Eat dinner 3) Change out of uncomfortable shoes 4) Watch the 400th episode of The Simpsons 5) Upload the 200+ pictures Diane and I both took Guess we went a little picture crazy. But, well, it was our first stationery show. And--let's see if I can explain this correctly--there was stationery EVERYWHERE. (And of course, we were expecting that, but what we didn't expect was being distracted--by every shiny object, every friendly face, every paper sample.) We made a list of booths we wanted to visit (with help from Poppy talk's guide and our list of own contacts) but, unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to fit ALL of them in. Anyway, it's almost 11 pm so all you're getting is this intro for now and we're saving the rest for tomorrow (and the rest of the week). It's better this way. More suspenseful. And speaking of suspense...here's our business card. Yes, that was tangential. No, we don't care if it doesn't make sense.
