The other day, at work (my day job, shh...) I declared, "If I have to write with any more black ink, I'll get bored to death." So yeah, not the most insightful statement one could make. But very true nonetheless.
When did black and blue become designated as "business" colors? If I were running my own business--we'd all have to write with purple ink. Is that too immature of me? What color ink do you prefer?

I've always like the green (too bad it's the proofreading color I'm used to) and I like the aqua ink. Fun, fun.
My boyfriend used to work for Vosges Haut Chocolate and every pen there was purple. I'm partial to blue, green and red. They used to make pens that were all four colors: blue, green, black and red. I loved them!
Purple is my favorite. I use it whenever I can, even at work. It's close enough to blue and black that it can "pass". The only problem is that purple pens can be difficult to find. Teachers use purple now instead of red - they must be buying up all the purple pens!
