under the knife, into our hearts

If you've ever wondered to yourself "Man, why don't they make a card for....(in our case, the incident requiring sympathy usually involves running out of cookies, missing antm or, as was the case this tuesday, accidentally forgetting about ben & Jerry's free scoop day), then you are in luck! Camie Dunbar and Matthew Santamarina are doing their part to fill the greeting card gap by creating their hilarious line, Lift Me Up Cards. The designs offer congratulatory messages for you to send to that special person in your life who just had plastic surgery. From their website: Alleged celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, Ashlee Simpson, Britney Spears, Cher, Goldie Hawn, Elizabeth Taylor, Tara Reid, and friends and relatives of all ages are having plastic surgery. As a matter of fact, 11.5 million people consulted with a cosmetic surgeon and had some form of plastic surgery in 2005. Let's face it, we all know at least one person that has had either a nose job, a breast augmentation, botox, a face-lift or liposuction. For this reason, Lift Me Up Cards was created. We have a greeting card for everyone who has gone under the knife. And in case the ol' cut and paste is rampant among your set, cards are available singly or in packs of 10 or 15. Good morning, hilarious!
